What happens when a group takes to the water
A team is not a sum of skills. It is first and foremost a way of being together — of trusting one another, communicating fast, finding a common rhythm. These things are not learned in a meeting room. They are built through action, under a little collective pressure, in an environment nobody controls.
Whitewater is an ideal setting for this. A raft of six people only moves forward if everyone paddles in the same direction — literally. By the end of the day, hierarchical roles have often softened a little, new affinities have formed, and the group has something to share. That is exactly what we are going for.
Oueds & Rios organises whitewater outings and stays for companies of all sizes — from small local businesses to large national groups. This is not a side offering: it is a fully-fledged service, with dedicated logistics, multiple guides mobilised simultaneously depending on group size, and the ability to split a large group into sub-groups running different activities in parallel.

Corporate rates
Corporate rates are based on our group pricing, with discounts applied according to three criteria: group size, number of activities booked and time of year.
The base, the guides and all equipment reserved exclusively for your company in the morning — no other group at the same time. Lunch on site included: BBQ at the base or with Na!Déj'.

Lunch on site
Staying at the base for lunch means you can head back out for afternoon activities without losing two hours to travel. Several options depending on your day's format.
Our partner Na!Déj' (Le Lauzet-Ubaye) offers home-cooked meals served at or near the base. A proper lunch break, in a convivial setting, with no logistical hassle for your group. Rate included in the overall quote.
The Martinet base has a BBQ area. Two options:
- Self-managed: you handle your own shopping and cooking — Oueds & Rios lends the BBQ and charcoal in exchange for a meal for the guides (2 to 3 people depending on group size).
- Managed by Oueds & Rios: shopping and preparation taken care of — price included in the quote.
We welcome groups that include people with disabilities. Supervision arrangements are assessed on a case-by-case basis with the group leader. For accessible accommodation, Résidence Hacienda in Barcelonnette and Centre Jean-Chaix are our usual partners. Contact us to find out more.

Oueds & Rios is not a travel agency. That said, we know the facilities best suited to groups within 30 minutes of our courses, and can help with introductions depending on your format: a straightforward stay or a seminar alternating outdoor activities with working sessions.
